GOE Tsebo is the focused learning environment within GOE. It combines an engaging learner experience with a structured learning spine that can later support rigorous evidence about learning. The first authorised validation slice is deliberately narrow.
What is being tested
- CAPS-aligned Grade 12 Mathematics, Paper 1 — Functions
- Focused on the turning point of a quadratic function
- A journey: explanation, visual understanding, guided application, practice, reflection, examination-style application
What GOE is deliberately not claiming yet
- That Tsebo is proven efficacious at scale
- That the mastery engine has been validated
- That GOE has national educational intelligence or demonstrated national impact
- That the validation prototype is a finished national platform
Evidence is part of the institution.
GOE's defining discipline is to separate aspiration from evidence. Trust is treated as part of the product — built into the operating model, not relied on through good intentions alone.

The public website collects no learner or minor personal data. Tsebo research identity is pseudonymous, held separately from records.
Sponsorship independence
Sponsor support does not buy editorial conclusions, rankings or learner outcomes. Independence is structural, not aspirational.
